Lucky Girl!!

Little Missy is going to be a year old soon! I can't believe it!!! Don't tell Lily... but I just picked up some very exciting birthday presents that my mom and dad, gram, and sis and her hubby sent for Lil's birthday! I will post lots of pics later, but I wanted to say a quick Thank you very much! I am so excited to see her play with all of this great stuff! She got a little swing set, a ball pit, a playhouse (cozy cottage), and a really cool pink car that she can ride in! Great outdoor fun!!! She is such a big girl, and I can't believe she will be playing with all of these "big girl" toys! They will be here for her bday party later on in May, but thanks so much for sending her gifts! I know she will LOVE them all!!! Love you!!

Feeding the Duckies (Geese)

The forecast called for another lovely day on Sunday, so we woke up and went to church, then came home and went on a walk around our neighborhood, and fed the duckies. I know they are geese, but I love to hear Lily make the duck noise, so we called them ducks! She is so funny... Lily, what does the ducky say... Cack! Cack! Cack!!! It was another hot day! And we were so excited! I guess we took advantage of living in Florida... where it was GORGEOUS all of the time! The winter here has been a hard one for us!! So we are SO Happy to see summer come! We went from winter to summer... no spring! Lily loved watching the ducks! She pointed and made their sound! We lathered on the sunscreen... so she looked like Casper the friendly ghost! Such a great weekend! Love you Lil!! You are so much fun!!!

Saturday Fun Day! In the POOL!!!

It was HOT HOT HOT here this weekend! YEA!!! It was in the 90's on Saturday and Sunday! We got out the blowup pool, and Lily had a blast! We hung out in our backyard and listened to music all day long! (Katie and Stan... you would have been proud!! You know how much we used to love to hang in the back yard! We missed ya!) Lily loves being in the water, and Daddy even got in with her! HA! We had such a fun day! Love you Lily! PS... Lily's new thing is saying Ball... but she says it like this... BAAWWLLL... like a little hick! It is so funny! She also says baby, baba, momma, dadda, and I think book. If I ask her what a ducky says.. she says cack cack cack... and if I ask her what a kitty says she says... meeeeeeeeeeeooowww. She is so stinkin cute if I do say so myself! Love ya baby girl! Glad ya had so much fun in your pool!!

Saturday night BBQ

On Saturday night, Chris, Mark, and Sandy came over for dinner! Chris came up to help Sandy and Mark with their yard, so we had to see him while he was all the way up here in VA! Thanks so much for coming and seeing us it was GREAT to see ya!!!! We had a great time hanging out! Hope to see ya again soon Chris!!!

GREAT TIME with an old friend!!!

WOW!! We had a GREAT TIME yesterday! Jake Owen is an old college buddy of ours, he was in our wedding, and we haven't seen him in awhile. He was in town touring with Alan Jackson, so we got to spend the day with him!! We met up with him on his bus around noon, and had a great time catching up! He met Lily for the first time, and of course Little Miss entertained the whole band the entire day! They were all so nice to us, and it was so nice to hang out! Eric was so happy to see his old FSU bud! We went to a local pizza place, and had a quick lunch! Later on we went with him to his meet and greet, and got to stand backstage while they got ready to go on. Then we went into the sound booth and watched the show! He puts on an AMAZING show! He is so talented, and we had a great time! Lily loved it! After the show we went back to the bus for a little, then headed home because Lil was ready for bed! She was such a trooper all day long! We love you Lily, and are so glad you had a great time at your first concert!

Fun Weekend!!

It was beautiful here in Virginia this weekend! We were so excited! Friday night when Eric got home from work, we went on a walk determined to invite our neighbors over for a bbq... I was so happy when we saw them getting home from work, and we planned to have a little bbq at our house on Saturday night! Later on went to eat at a little Mexican place right by our house... and when we came home, a few families were in the coldasac hanging out, so we went and joined them! It was so nice and fun to hang out with some neighbors! On Saturday we ran some errands and then got ready for everyone to come over for the bbq. Two of the families came over, and we all had a great time! All of the kids played, and Lily thought she was a big girl too! So funny trying to do everything the older kids were doing! On Sunday we went to church and then headed to Chesapeake National Park... We just walked through the trails, and had a nice time being outside. Lily loved it! On the way home we stopped by Bruesters and had ice cream! Lily's FAV! Such a great weekend! Love you baby girl!!!
