First Shopping Trip!!!

We had a great day!! We took Lily on her first trip to the mall!!! A place mommy holds close to her heart!!! Ha!!! She was so good!!!! Mommy, Granna, and Mommy's good friend Katie met for lunch and some shopping! We had a good time!! Everyone had to stop and look at the little miss!! She looked absolutely adorable!!! It was a very hot day, and we went to the outdoor mall, so we didn't stay too long, (anyone who knows mommy, knows that mommy likes to stay at the mall all day) but we did some shopping, and got some good stuff!!! We went to swoozies, artsy abode, bath and body works, and Dillards. Katie had a great time pushing Lily in her stroller... (we think it is time for Katie and Stan to have a friend for Lily)...he he he!!! Granna held the heavy diaper bag, and pushed Lily too.. It takes an entire entourage to shop with a baby!!
We missed Grammy and Great Grandma... they are just dying to go to lunch and shop with us... They are like mommy... we love to shop!!! We will get to go soon guys!!!! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!! Love to all!!!!

Mommy and Daddy's first date night

Eric and I went out to dinner last night... without our precious angel! She and Granna stayed in... they played and had a good time! Thanks Granna! We went to outback and had a yummy dinner... we go to outback all of the time, and it was so weird to go there this time knowing that we had a baby at home. We couldn't stop talking about her! We missed her so much!! We can't wait to bring her there with us!!! Mommy knows one day Lily will love the cheese fries and the Sydney's sinful sunday just like her!! Ha!!! It was nice to spend some time with Eric!!! I love you Eric!!! I am so happy!! We love you Lily!!!

Lily and Mommy's first outing together

Mommy and Lily had their first outing together today. Mommy had an end of the year teacher luncheon at Hidden Hills Country Club, and I thought it would be nice to go and show Little Miss off! I was very nervous about going by myself, and driving the car with no one in the backseat to watch her, but she did great! She was completely content. When we got there she fell fast asleep, and didn't make one peep until we got home! All of Mommy's teacher friends thought she was just so beautiful!! She had to get all dressed up of course, so she wore a beautiful dress that Grammy got her. I think she looks like a little cupcake!!! Look at all of those ruffles... so girly!!! What a sweet little doll!! Thanks Grammy!!! We love you so much! We had to post these pictures immediately, so Grammy could see!

We are having a good week with Granna. She has been such a big help!!! Cooking us dinner, letting mommy sleep, and helping with the laundry!! Thanks so much! We love you! We have just been hanging out. Lily is doing well. She seems to be getting bigger, and she is eating really well. She takes lots of naps and seems to be getting herself on a little bit of a schedule. She is so sweet, she makes the cutest little faces!! Again, we can't get enough!!! We have her doctor's appt. on Monday... 2 week checkup. Continue to pray for her (and mommy and daddy) as we get used to being a family of 3. We love you doll baby!!!

Update

Ok... so I am all caught up now... YEA!!! I finally had a chance to post more pics!!! My family left yesterday, and Granna came today... she is going to stay with us now and help out too!! We are so lucky to have you here Granna... we know you are excited to be here! Pepe will come later... we know he is excited too!
Lily is doing well... she still has Jaundice, but the doctors seem to think it will go away on its own. I am of course still a little worried, but I know she will be fine! She is eating well, and everything seems to be fine. Just pray for us, as we continue to adjust to having a new baby! She is amazing and we can't imagine life without her!!! Daddy is just smitten!!! He already thinks she will be a beauty queen. He has been so good with her, and I love him more than anything! I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband and daughter! I love you both more than words can say... you mean the world to me... I hope everyone else is doing well... keep checking in on the blog... I will be posting a ton!!! Love to all!!!

Great Aunt Chrissy and Cousin Chelsea drove up on Sunday night to see Miss Lily... They made a very long trip for just a short amount of time, but of course they had to come mee t the angel baby! Thank you guys so much for coming!!! We are so glad you could come and meet Lily! We love you!

Just wanted to say thanks so very much to my mom, gram, and dad... you have all done so much, and words can't express how much we appreciate it all... we had the best week, Eric and I didnt have to do much of anything! They cooked, cleaned, and helped out in every way imagineable!!! Lily, Eric, and I are so lucky to have you all!!! We love you so much!!! They left yesterday... it was hard to say the least...very hard... but we will all be fine!!! We will see you in a few weeks anyways!!! THANK YOU TONS!!!!!

Memorial day

We had everyone over for Memorial day (on Sunday). We had a good time. We sat out by the pool, and had a great picnic dinner (inside! ). Auntie Lindsay and Uncle Keith and Aunt Ashlie and Uncle Craig were here too, I just didnt get any pictures with them in it. Thanks Granna and Pepe for the food! Thanks to everyone who was here with us to share in a fun day with our Sweet Lily! We love you Lily!

Sweet Lily is so very lucky to have all of these visitors... She has so many people who love her so much! Auntie Lins (my sister) already met Lily once, right when she was born... but she came back with Uncle Keith, and he met her for the first time... he was a little nervous to hold her at first , but he did great!
