We had a great first weekend here in VA! We have been so busy, we kinda just wanted to relax a little!! Friday night after we put Lily to bed, Eric grilled out! Yes... it was like 25 degrees outside, but he still had to grill! Saturday we ran some errands, and continued to try and get the house in order. We wanted to get outside for a little, so we went for a little walk... It was FREEZING, so our walk didn't last long! Saturday night we went to a local restaurant called Winston's... It was delicious!! On Sunday we went to church, and then came home and Eric painted ALL day... Like 8 hours!!! We still have a lot of work to do, but it is coming along! Lily is doing great!! She isn't sleeping well, though... don't know why, but it is making for some really long days! I can't function that well on no sleep!! I hope she sleeps better this week! Love you Lily!! She has her 9 month well visit on Thursday, so I will do a big 9 month update then! Love and miss you all!!
Ready to go on a walk
We are still getting settled here in VA, slowly but surely we are moving boxes out and setting up our new home!! However... it is so hard to get anything done with little missy here!!! She is so busy!!! PLAY, play, play!!! Which is a good thing... I mean, I am glad she is active and loves to play, but at the same time it is exhausting!! She is so funny! She pulls up on EVERYTHING and tries to let go and walk! She is FEARLESS! And that scares Momma to death!! We pull all of her (literally) 50o toys out a day, and she just loves it! She has just started crawling over to her toy box and pulling stuff out! I think she is gonna be a little mischievous thing! If she goes somewhere she knows she is not supposed to go... she stops, looks at me... and laughs. Can they really be like that this early!! I laugh... I guess I shouldn't... but hey! It is too funny! She is just too cute, and her little laugh is enough to make anyone smile! I love you baby!! I haven't posted pics in a few days, so I snapped some of her today... yes she is in her pj's at 3:00pm... why change if we are gonna be in all day right?? (Momma is still in her pj's too!) We are just waiting for Daddy to get home, so we can cook out! Our first cookout here! (It is FREEZING outside... but you know Eric... he has to grill!) Anyways... we are doing well... just trying to get the house set up! Hope everyone has a great weekend! Love to all! We miss everyone!

We left on Saturday morning! We wanted to split the 10 hour drive up, so we made it to Fayetteville North Carolina. We stopped at about 2:30, and got a hotel room! We were all exhausted from everything, so we just hung out, and got a bite to eat for dinner! Lily did so great in the car! She is such a great traveler! Knock on wood! The next morning we woke up and left NC at about 10am... we drove to Chesapeake and got here around 2:30. We had to get a hotel for Sunday night because the movers were not coming until Monday morning. So we got a hotel, got some dinner, and just went to bed! Lily had another great day! However... Sunday night was a different story! She would not sleep... at all!! It was so bad! I don't know if it was a tooth or what, but she just would not sleep! So... we woke up the next morning...( the morning when the movers were coming to bring all of our stuff)... to snow on the ground! Yes... snow!! It had snowed the night before, so maybe that's what kept Lil up!!! So we bundled up and headed to our new home!! The movers dropped everything thing off and got everything in the house! They were here from 7:30am- 3:30pm... then... they left... and here we were with about a million boxes, and a sleepy baby who was very fussy, and 2 tired parents (us)who were just about crazy!! Well, we worked and worked, and then went to bed that night. No tv, no internet, no order to anything... nothing! We just prayed and asked God to give us the strength to deal with everything, and He has! There has just been so much to do... Eric has been doing so much!! He is awesome!!! He has handled everything... and let me tell you people are NOT easy to deal with!! It seems like everyone just screws everything up! Anyways... he took off work yesterday and we got a ton done!!! Today, he went back to work, so Lil and I have been hanging out! I got internet today (YEA!!!) and the Direct Tv gets hooked up tomorrow... so excited! Little by little room by room our house will get set up!! Pray for us as we get settled in here! We are very excited! Once we get settled then we can go meet some friends!! We miss you all already, and hope to hear from everyone soon! Love you all!!
We went to St. Augustine to Eric's parents the 2 days before we left. They watched Lil for us while the packers packed and the movers moved! Lily had such a great time with her Granna and Pepe!! Thanks guys so much! Such a big help!! Lily got Valentines Day treats from them too! So sweet!! We had a great last few days in FL. The weather was beautiful! We brought a blanket outside and just hung out by the ocean! Lily loves being outside! Such a great last few days! We sure are gonna miss the beach condo! Love you guys, and thanks again!
