Memorial Day

We really didn't do much this Memorial day. The weather wasn't that great, so we didn't want to go to the beach. We decided to go to the park. We packed up some toys and snacks for Lil and headed to a nearby park. She had so much fun! Now that she can walk she was everywhere! She was "talking" to all of the toys in the playground. Going from one to the next! SO CUTE!!! She was literally almost running! She loves to go go go!! She loves the slide, but is not sure about the swing! We had so much fun playing with her! She is such a joy! Love you baby girl! Later on we grilled out some yummy food then went to Brusters and got some ice cream! Lily's Favorite!!!

The Pungo Strawberry Festival!

We went to the Pungo Strawberry Festival on Saturday! Complete with pig races, pie eating contests, beauty pageants, clogging competitions (Oh Yes), and more!!! It was actually really fun! It was way bigger than what we had expected! It was like out of a movie! There were tons and tons of people there! It was like a hug country fair in a little town! We are not used to things like this, so we thought it was fun! Lily had a great time lounging in her stroller, people watching and waving, and eating lots of junk food! We had cheese fries, frozen lemonade, corn dogs, and strawberries! There was so much more I wanted to get... fried oreos, strawberry shortcake, fried corn on the cob, old fashion sodas, and much more, but I tried to be good!!! We strolled around the fair part and Daddy won Lily a bear throwing darts at balloons. We picked strawberries in the fields, and just had a great day being outside! I love days like this!!! We love you Lily!

On Saturday we got the paper, and saw that there was a really good deal at one of the car dealerships... so we decided to go check it out. It didn't end up being what we thought, but I snapped a few pics of Lil while we were there. She is such a little ham!! She waves at everyone now... like the queen wave. And she LOVES her sunglasses. Which cracks me up because she used to hate them! We call her "Hollywood!" When she puts them on we say"Oh so pretty", and she just basks in her glory! So Funny!!!

Lily's Birthday (May 18)

Monday was Lily's actual birthday! We all woke up and played with Lil all morning! Daddy had to go to Richmond for work, so we decided to go grab a bite to eat before I had to take my fam to the airport. We went to Applebees, cuz Lily loves their grilled cheese and fries, and mini sundae! I can't believe Little Miss was born a year ago!!! I am so lucky to have this sweet angel!!! I am working on a big post to kinda wrap up her first year!! So more on that later! After lunch I had to take my fam to the airport... tear!!! I always hate saying goodbye!! Thanks so much guys for everything!!! I so appreciate all you do for us! Lily already misses you all... and so do I!!! We love you all so very much!!!

On Sunday we slept in and got ready to go to the late service at church. After church, we went to Carrabas... one of our favorites! It was DELICIOUS!!! It poured all day long!! We came home and just hung out and played with Lil! It was nice to just relax and be together! When Lily went to sleep, Eric and Dad watched some movie downstairs, and the girls watched Bride Wars upstairs... it was hilarious! Such a great day! We love you Lily!!
