15 month post
Lily went to the doctor last week, and boy is she growing! She is in the 90th percentile for height and weight! She weighs 24 punds and 14 ounces, and is 31 1/4 inches long! The doc said she looks great!!! I just did a post not too long ago about all she is doing...so that will be part of her 15 month update. Eric had to take her because I had meetings all last week. I had a list of questions for Eric to ask the doc, and one of them was about the bottle...or "Bobba" as Lily so sweetly calls it...well he said...ABSOLUTELY no more bottle! I was SHOCKED!!! I had no idea we were supposed to take it away. She only took one in the morning, and one before bed... but still...she LOVES her Bobba!!! And... this is how I put her to bed every night... rocking her with her bottle! I was so nervous because I did not know how she was gonna fall asleep, and I knew she would miss having her bottle! Not to mention she was new to the whole "school" thing, and they had to get her down for a nap somehow! Again...I was FREAKING out!!! Well, I tried the first night... I just rocked her and sang to her after story time... she cuddled up to me and fell asleep... I WAS SHOCKED!!!!! I was so glad! The next day at school, they had a little bit of a hard time, but she did go to sleep!!! Thank the Lord!!! She has been asking for it, but we just give her milk in a sippy cup at meals. She still wakes up saying "Bobba, Bobba". Breaks my heart! But I am so proud of her! She has gone to sleep without a fight every night! She really hasn't even cried! My baby is getting to be such a big girl!!!! I love you so much sweet baby girl! I am so proud of you! You are such a BIG girl and the sweetest thing in the world!!!

Lovin' "School"!!!
Well... My little missy is just LOVING school!!! I am so very happy!!!!! The staff LOVE her, and they tell me that like 10 times a day, so that makes me so happy!!! She is the little "personality"! Every day the sweet teachers have something sweet to tell me! I receive and info sheet on her every day and they write things like...Lily gave sweet kisses and hugs all day! or Lily had a great day...she loves playing with the dolls...or Lily gave tender touches to baby alex today...every day they say she has a great time, and just go go goes!!! She is just jibber jabbering like crazy, and they say she knows what she wants and really tries to tell them! I feel so blessed to be able to have her in such a warm, caring place where I can see her all day!!! She goes in in the morning and has a ball!!!! I LOVE YOU SWEET ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!

I can see her growing though, I can just sit back and watch and she will play for awhile...she doesn't really "need " me to be there! I think it is so great!!! She is growing up right before my eyes!!! She is such a big girl, doing big girls things, and she just loves all of the kids! She is very loving, always giving hugs and kisses! And My oh My did she love the birthday cake! Happy Birthday Olivia! We had so much fun at your party!!!

Lily's First Day Of School!!!!!
Ok...so today I went back to work, and Lily went to "school" for the first time! It is so nice to have her right there! The school offers staff childcare, so she is literally right below me all day long! I checked on her like a hundred times! There are only 6 kids in the childcare, and 3 workers! They were all so sweet, and seemed to LOVE Lily! I was so nervous to send her! I wasn't sure how she would be, but of course she did GREAT!!! I was so proud of her! They said she has such a sweet personality, and she is miss independent! They said she was not shy, and she had so much fun! She looked like such a big girl! I am so thankful that it went so well today! Thank the Lord! I have been so nervous, but after I saw how well she did, I knew I was doing the right thing! God has worked everything out, and so I am at total peace! Pray for us as we continue to make this BIG adjustment! Lily, I am so glad you had so much fun today! You are such a special little sweetie, and I love you so very much! I am so excited to see what is in store for you! XOXOXO

The Virginia Creeper
Eric's parents were so excited to take us to do the Virginia Creeper. Lily was still too little to do it, so Granna stayed with her! Thanks Granna! And Dad, Eric, and I went to Damascus, VA, which was about an hour and a half from Sugar, to go on an 18 mile downhill bike trail. It was so awesome! We got there and they fitted us for a bike, then drove us to the top of the mountain, and said go on down! It was beautiful! It was so much fun! I haven't ridden a bike in ages! There were some neat stops along the way! We just went at out own pace, and did our own thing. Such a great thing to do! The mountains and all of the scenery were so nice! Thanks for taking us! It was so refreshing and relaxing! (PS...along the way I noticed it was getting harder and harder to peddle, so when we stopped, Eric noticed that my back tire was flat! Eric and Dad changed the tire! They did great!!!
