Baby it's Cold Outside!

Why is Lily bundled up like a little Eskimo you ask? Well.. it was 34 degrees here this morning with a wind chill of 27! Yes, we were freezing in Jacksonville, Florida today! I bundled Lily up as much as possible, and Eric packed her in her car seat! She couldn't really move, but I think she liked it! She didn't fuss or wiggle! She was such a cute little bundle! Love you baby!

Sweet Baby Girl is 6 months old today!!!

I can't believe Lily is 6 months old today! The time really has flown by! We have her 6 month checkup on Thursday, so I will post a big update then! But for now I just want to say that Lily has brought so much joy into our lives! She is absolutely amazing and we love her more than words could ever say! She is the sweetest , spunkiest, most beautiful little angel! Lily... we love you so much! We can't imagine life without you! What did we ever do before you came into our lives!

Wedding Weekend Extravaganza!!!

Wow! What a busy weekend! We had a great time! Eric's entire family came in town this weekend for a wedding! We all went to the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and the brunch on Sunday! We went non- stop! We all had so much fun! My fam came in town to watch Lily (see prior post!) Thanks again guys! Love you! The rehearsal dinner was at the River Club at the top of the Modis building! It was great! The wedding reception was at Ponte Vedra Inn and Spa in a great ballroom! It was beautiful! We stayed there on Saturday night. And the brunch was at the Chartrand house on Sunday! It was so great to see and spend time with Eric's family!! We always have so much fun!! I wasn't able to get pics of the bride and groom... there were 400 people at this wedding... so it was too hectic to ask for pics!!! I had my camera and since we were all dressed up and all together... I took a bunch of pics! Love you guys... we are a crazy bunch!! We had a blast!

Weekend with Papa, Grammy, and Auntie Linds

My mom, dad, and sister came up this past weekend to watch Lily for us while we went to all of the events for the Chartrand wedding. The Chartrands are some of the Lafleurs best friends, so we all were invited to all of the events! Lily had an amazing time with Grammy, Papa, and Auntie Linds! She just loves them so much! And they love her!!! They got here on Friday afternoon, and played, played, played! On Saturday, they wanted to take Lily to the zoo, but it was crummy weather, so they went to lunch and shopped a little, and on Saturday night they went to the lighting of the Christmas tree at the towncenter! They said it was really neat, but it was kinda rainy, and windy. They didn't wanna keep Lil out in the weather, so they came home. But they said they had a great time! Saturday night we stayed at a hotel at the beach, so it was our first night away from Lily! She did great though, and I wasn't worried at all! I knew she was in great hands! Thanks you guys so much for coming up to Jacksonville to watch Lily! We really appreciate you doing that! We are so lucky to have family that will come at the drop of a hat! Love you guys!!!

First time eatin' veggies!!!

We gave Lily a vegetable for the first time tonight! We gave her Butternut Squash! She LOVED it! She ate the entire jar without stopping! It didn't even really get all over the place because she didn't spit it out! She ate the whole jar of that, a little cereal, and half a jar of bananas. She would have eaten more of the bananas, but I stopped giving them to her. I didn't want her to have an upset stomach! She gets so excited and cracks up when Eric talks to her in this funny voice! She loves her Daddy! I actually got a few of her smiling! What a cutie!!! Love you Lily! We are so proud of you baby girl! You are getting so big so fast!

Lily loves to play with all of her toys! I can put her down on the floor and put a bunch of toys around her and she just plays and plays... of course hip hop harry must be on in the background! She is so cute when she plays! Everything goes into her mouth! She is sitting up better now and she goes from her bottom to her tummy in the crawl position. She isn't quite crawling yet though! She is so much fun! Love you Lily!!!

Go Dolphins!

Our good friend Josh was in town, so we me him up at Sneakers to watch football! He has a 2 year old cutie named Maddie! Josh and Stacey moved to Washington about 2 years ago! We miss them so much!! Lily got to meet him for the first time! He thought she was so cute! We watched the Dolphins win and Daddy was so excited!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
