Well, we only have about one week left until my due date! We can't believe it! We are so excited!! We went to our doctor's appointment on Tuesday, and she said I was about 3 centimeters dialted, and I could go into labor at anytime... so what do you think I did... I had to go get my hair done right away! I couldn't let Lily see mommy for the first time with roots!! Ha! Ha!!! When the doctor told us that... we kinda panicked and went home that night and completely got everything ready!! We were pretty much all ready, but we just had a few more things to do... and... it is now Saturday night, and we just finished cooking out... and we wait!!! We are ready whenever she is!!! (Well, I dont know if we will ever be ready, but you know what I mean!) I got my nails and toes done today, and we cleaned the house spotless...(as Eric would say!) We have been walking around the lake every night in hopes to speed things up, but as for now... we wait!! I am feeling really good!!! Just BIG!!! It is really a lost cause trying to sleep at night... Eric has been sleeping on the couch because I am literally up all night! I am sorry babe!! I know everyone is anxiously awaiting "the call." Don't worry, we will call everyone right away! We go back to the doctor on Tuesday, so we will see what she says!!! We can't wait to see Miss Lily! Eric and I are so excited about doing all of the things new parents do... we are so excited about learning to do things together... changing her diapers, bathing her, putting her to sleep, feeding her... and making lots of mistakes I'm sure along the way... but we just can wait!!! We love you Lily... we will see you soon!!!

well you were not kidding, we barely read your posting last night and you were going to the hospital this morning.just wanted to say congrats on little lily kate i bet she is soooo cute, your dad told me she has a head full of hair, can't wait to come see her......maybe next weekend when i come back from tenn., i'll be calling you to find out if you'll be wanting visitors. we love you guys. aunt chrissy
CONGRATULATIONS......You have a beautiful little baby girl. We are all so happy for you. You sure did not waste any time once the Dr. gave you the go ahead. We are glad everything went well and Lily is finally her. ENJOY her.

CONGRATULATIONS sweet cuz!!! I can't believe you're a mommy now:) Welcome to a wonderful club!!! She is just beautiful...have loved keeping up with your blog...helps when you can't be there!! Allison keeps up with it too and was excited yesterday...she is as old as I was when you were born:) I told your mom that I couldn't believe you went through labor and childbirth and your hair still looked so good...amazing...never happened for me:) Enjoy all the new things you guys have been looking forward to...they are precious times for sure.
